OOTI 20 Year Anniversary Symposium

On Thursday March 26, 2009

in the Auditorium (Blauwe Zaal)  at the TU/e campus, Eindhoven

We celebrate the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the Software Technology (ST) post-masters programme with a symposium that aims to reflect the scope of the domains where software architecture plays a key role:

“System Architecture: between clouds and dust”

On the one extreme there are the very large systems, with a high capacity based on Clouds, or grids, or with a large extension such as the Lofar telescope. On the other extreme there are systems the size of a speck of dust that can unobtrusively monitor conditions in the human body or the environment. In this symposium we discuss the range of successful architectures and the reasoning that underlies them.
